RC Eats is a locally owned and operated catering company founded by our family—the Rajapaksas. Together with our dedicated team, we’re passionate about bringing great food and memorable experiences to every event we serve.
What began in our home kitchen in 2010 officially grew into RC Eats in 2015. Since then, we’ve had the privilege of catering hundreds of events across Central Alberta, building lasting relationships within our community along the way.
At the heart of our kitchen is Sam, our head chef. A Red Seal Certified chef with over 20 years of experience, Sam brings a global perspective to every dish. Originally from Sri Lanka, he spent years living and working abroad before making Canada home two decades ago. His diverse culinary background is reflected in our menus—bold, flavorful, and inspired by cuisines from around the world.
In 2025, we expanded our vision by opening our commercial kitchen as a casual eatery. Today, we proudly serve fresh breakfast and lunch, along with a selection of convenient, ready-to-enjoy frozen meals.
